Scrappin' Away

I've been busy scrappin' away here!!  I've had some time off work, and so I've been taking Paisley to day home and really trying to focus on taking care of myself (getting lots of sleep) and trying to catch up on Paisley's scrapbook so that I can focus on the new baby's when it comes!!  So here is one of the pages for Paisley's scrapbook.  I did use some cricut for the lettering, as I don't have any of the big shot dies from stampin' up...yet.  ha ha ha...I just haven't been able to stomach the price quite yet, but I know that I'm going to be bucking up sometime soon!  That is all I can think about currently is getting those die sets...ha ha ha...don't tell my husband!  Anyways, I love the nursery nest suite it is soo cute and the colours are fabulous for boys and/or girls!!

Recipe:
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Marina Mist, Perfectly Plum, Whisper White, Nursery Nest DSP.

To Gnome You Is To Love You

Hello stampers!  I am here today with a new card that I made for one of my gardening girlfriends!  It is just about time to start planning the garden, and so this is what I've made for her.  She has quite the green thumb, and has always given me some of her extra basil that she somehow manages to have!  Hopefully this year is no different.  Ha ha ha...I made this using some inspiration from PPA Sketch Challenge 131.
The Gnome stamp sets are soo cute!  There is so many things that you can do with them and with the different sayings, I just love them!  The other thing that I love from the sale-a-bration catalogue is the entire everyday enchantment series.  The DSP, brad and ribbon pack and fresh Vintage stamp set is soo awesome.

Recipe:
Cardstock: Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, Confetti White, Everyday Enchantment DSP.
Stamps: Gnome Sweet Gnome, Gnomenclature, Up Up & Away, Send Me Soaring.
Ink: Staz On Jet Black, Basic Black.
Markers: Poppy parade, So Saffron, Pool Party, Sahara Sand, Lucky Limeade, Blush Blossom.
Tools: Simply Scored, Stampin Dimensionals, SNAIL, Crimper, Paper Piercer, Everyday Enchantment Brads.

Thanks for checking me out today!  hope your spring season is looking up!  and shaping up for an awesome gardening season!  have a good one!

Here We Go Again...

Well hello blogging world.  oh how I have missed thee!!  It has been like forever since I have blogged, but even longer since I have actually done any crafting on my own!!  (For these purposes, the classes and stuff that I go to don't count!)  ha ha ha...Anyways...so it has been a while...so long in fact that I am Pregnant!!  yay!  again...ha ha ha...not only am I pregnant, but I am 28 weeks pregnant!  no matter how close you are to the end, it is never close enough to the finish line!  but all has gone well so far...but I do have to say this pregnancy is part of the reason that I haven't been scrapping...I have been soo exhausted, just treading water basically with all the household stuff, Paisley, and work...but now I must be in the nesting phase right now becuase I feel pretty darn good, and am back to a somewhat normal level of energy!  Another fun thing about this pregnancy is that we dont' know the sex of the baby..again!  It was so exciting at the end of the whole labour to find out that Paisley was a little girl.  it is so surreal...and I just feel like it is one of life's true surprises left, and i just don't want to take that away from myself. So, I finally had a chance to do some scrapbooking for the new baby, it's first scrapbooking page!  I used the colours for this weeks Paper Players Challenge: Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake.  I really really love the colour combination that they chose for this week.  I didn't think that it was too girly or too boyish at all, so I went with it.  I love love love the way that it turned out.
I know it doesn't look complete without the photo, but we actually haven't taken a photo for this page yet.  but I know exactly what I want it to be!  It is going to be Ryan, Paisley and I...possibly with the positive pregnancy test...scrapbook pages look so muhc better witht he picture in it...but i think it looks pretty darn cute already!!

Recipe:
Cardstock: Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party.
Ink: Sahara Sand, Lucky Limeade (oops, i kinda goofed on the ink, for some reason I thought it was lucky limeade, and then I looked again and it was pear pizzazz which actually goes a bit better), Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party.
Stamps: Occasions Alphabet, Sweet Shoppe Lower Alphabet Clear, Tiny Tags, Dot Dot Dot, A to Z, Fine Flourish, En Francais, Parlour Prints,
Tools: Paper Cutter, Paper Snips, Paper Piercer, SNAIL, Glue Dots, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Dimensionals, Boho Blossoms Punch, Tiny Tags Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Scallop Border Edge Punch, Designer Frames Embossing Folders, clear block A, stamp-a-ma-jig, stampin' sponges, Big Shot.
Embellishments: Pool Party Bakers Twine, Paper Daisies, 2011-2013 In Colour Designer Brads, Neutral brads,  Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Poly Stitched Ribbon.

I also am going to submit this scrapbook page for another challenge over at freshly made sketches.  I know it's meant mostly for cards, but I love it when you can get some inspiration from a sketch (or advertisments or anything really) and transfer it to scrapbooking and crafting in general!  My layout is a bit turned around from this sketch...but the main components are the same!  This is the sketch!  Head on over and check it out!!
Anyways...thanks for checking me out!  I'm glad that I could finally play again, and i'm excited to get crackin on the scrapbooking catch up game.  Hopefully I can play some catch up and get finished with Paisley's scrapbook before the new baby comes!!  ha ha ha...Hopefully I can get going on that one!!  I'll be back soon!!!  thanks for checking me out.  Also, I think my mom might have a Pals Paper Arts Challeneg Entry for tomorrow!!  come check her out too!!!

Sending Many Thanks

I'm here again this time with a little 3x3 thank you card!  These are the little cards that my friends will find in their bags along with the goodies they decided to purchase!  I totally love them.  It goes along with the st. paddy's day theme of march and of course it also coordinates with the PPA Challenge 130: Lucky Limeade, Always Artichoke and another colour.  This was totally inspired by something I've seen online (I'm soo sorry I can't remember who did it!), using the iridescent ice embossing powder and embossing on a darker colour.  It looks fabulous.  I wish you could tell a bit better  how cool the iridescent ice powder looks, but a good picture was very difficult to acheive...Check it out for yourselves!

Recipe:
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade, Always Artichoke, In colour DSP Patterns stack.
Stamp Sets: Petite Pairs, Mixed Bunch
Embellishments: Early Espresso 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Brads.
Tools: Heat Tool, Iridescent Ice Embosssing Powder, Blossom Punch, SNAIL, Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Simply Scored.

Anyways, thanks again for checking me out today!  Hope you all like my card!!  Leave me some love if you're checking me out so that I can come by and check your blogs out too!!!
